resurfacing

We don’t get much of a sunset here in Seoul. You might catch a few clouds changing colours above your head as the night moves in, but once the sun dips down towards the horizon all the colours and all the light are lost between the towering apartment blocks and the haze that seems to constantly lie on top of this city.
Some days, when I’m tired of the urban jungle, of feeling swathed in concrete, of seeing the only real blazes of pink and red in neon signs, I think back to that last sunset in El Nido. No haze, no towers, nothing but islands, palm trees, and fishing boats in the distance.
And the clouds slowly turning pink and red above our heads.

Gorgeous picture. It was a gloomy cold day in SF today so I might imagine myself here as well ;)

Stunning! But I think I love the title of this post the most…and yes, where would the world be without sunsets? Thanks for sharing this :)
