Sometimes, you need the plane ticket.

Sometimes, you need the novelty of the foreign.

But sometimes, all you need is a group of friends, a pension on the beach, perfect weather and a birthday to celebrate. And if you add in cartwheel races, a hot grill and s’mores to go, fireworks and sparklers, drum circles and foreigners and impromptu jam sessions, Korean wrestling matches and a million and one (at least attempted) jumping photos in front of a perfect sunset, you can live vibrantly, live powerfully, and live laughing so hard you wake up sore, right in your very own backyard.

Muuido! My favorite place I went to in Korea, looks like you had a great time too :)
I seriously can’t believe we didn’t do this sooner!!
Looks like tons of fun. Great photos! :)
Thanks lovely :)
I LOVE the spirit of this post! How did you make that cartwheel picture?
Gifninja.com!! They’re ace :)
I love the .gif image!
It sounds bad, but I could seriously watch the birthday girl (closest to the camera) eat it at the end of that .gif for HOURS ;)
Looks like so much fun!! That sunset looks amazing!
This kind of weekend is advisable for everyone :)
Yay! I wasn’t sure what to expect when I read the title of the post, but this is excellent! I loved Muuido too… had so much fun there last year! Your photos brought me right back there, so thanks :) Looks like you guys had an absolute blast!! PS Your photos rock.
Girl! I totally showed your blog post on Muuido to the birthday girl when we were first talking about a weekend away!! I think it convinced her ;)
This post makes me so nostalgic for the year I spent living on a little island in Jeollanamdo. Great place.
